Lost Dogs Happen

It can happen to the best of dog owners – you come home and your favorite pooch has flown the coupe.  What now?

Start your search by emailing info@VillagesOfNorthgateCrossing.com and including the breed, sex, color(s) and your contact name and phone number.  We also recommend sending a photo of the dog.

The single best and least expensive way to improve your pooch’s chances of making a safe return home beyond teaching him to talk is by ensuring that your dog has a collar with current contact information.  If you want to go a step further, you can also talk with your veterinarian about having a “microchip” – a small identification chip the size of a grain of rice, implanted under your dog’s skin.  In the case of your animal being returned to an animal shelter, these microchips are then read as part of the normal intake process at most animal shelters.  The chips cost about $45 to have implanted and a small annual cost.

Please be aware that due to deed restrictions in our neighborhood and state/federal law, posting signage on stop signs, mailboxes or community property is either illegal or a violation of community restrictions and it is common for the  Precinct 4 bandit sign program to remove such signs.
